Privacy Policy

We handle financial records for a living, so how we treat your information is not an afterthought. This page explains what we collect and why.

Last updated · January 15, 2026

1. Information we collect

When you submit a form on this website we collect the name, company, email address, phone number, service interest, preferred meeting time, and any message you provide.

When you become a client we additionally collect financial records needed to perform the engagement: bank and card statements, payroll data, prior tax returns, loan documents, and accounting system access.

Our website records standard technical data such as pages viewed, referring page, browser type, and approximate region. We do not use advertising trackers.

2. How we use it

To respond to your inquiry, schedule and conduct calls, deliver the services described in your engagement letter, comply with legal and professional obligations, and improve the website.

We send the Finsure Brief newsletter only to addresses that opted in. Every issue includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

3. Sharing

We never sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us deliver the engagement — accounting platforms, secure document exchange, payroll systems, email delivery — and with lenders or your CPA where you have asked us to, or where law requires disclosure.

Every provider we use is bound by confidentiality obligations at least as strict as ours.

4. Security

Documents are exchanged through encrypted portals rather than email attachments. Access is limited to the team members assigned to your account, protected by multi-factor authentication and reviewed quarterly.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your data, we will notify you promptly and tell you what happened.

5. Retention

Client financial records are retained for seven years after the engagement ends, consistent with US tax recordkeeping standards. Website inquiry data that does not become a client engagement is deleted after twenty-four months.

6. Your choices

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

Email us and we will respond within thirty days.

7. Changes

If we update this policy we will change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify active clients by email.
